Sometimes, we need a moment to step away from the noise of everyday life and come back to ourselves. Sometimes, we want to mark a change, honour a milestone, or simply give ourselves permission to slow down.
At Bold & Gold Studios, our Sacred Rituals offer a space to do just that.
Created by studio owner Nikki, these experiences weave together intention setting, breath work, meditation and intuitive energy healing. They are an invitation to reconnect with yourself, explore what you are carrying, and make space for whatever you might need in the present moment.
Whether you are curious about a gentle, restorative session or feel called to mark a significant moment in your life with a more personalised ceremony, there is space for you here.
And no, you don't need to have a piercing booked to experience a Sacred Ritual.
What is our Intuitive Sacred Ritual?
A Sacred Ritual is an intentional experience designed around you, your needs and what you would like to honour.
For some, that might mean taking time to rest and settle the nervous system. For others, it could be a way of acknowledging personal growth, navigating a transition, celebrating a new chapter or reconnecting with their sense of self.
At Bold & Gold, we draw on practices including breath work, meditation, Reiki and intuitive energy work, with an emphasis on the elements within and around the body.
There is no expectation to arrive knowing exactly what you need, and there is no particular way you are supposed to feel. You are welcome to come as you are, with an intention in mind or simply a desire to take some time for yourself.

Our Intuitive Sacred Ritual is a one-to-one, non-invasive experience that allows you to slow down and turn your attention inwards. You remain fully clothed throughout, and the session takes place in the calm surroundings of the studio.
1. Arriving and setting an intention
We begin by making space for you to settle in. You will be invited to consider an intention for your session, whether that is something specific you would like to focus on or a more general feeling you would like to invite into your life.
Your intention might relate to grounding, letting go, self-connection, change or simply finding a little peace in a busy season.
There is no pressure to find the perfect words. Sometimes, just showing up is enough.
2. Meditation, intuitive energy healing, and breath work
The heart of the session is a bespoke weaving of breath work, meditation and intuitive energy healing, drawing on Reiki and the elements.
These practices invite you to become more aware of your breath, your body and your senses, creating an opportunity to pause from the demands of the outside world.
Reiki is a complementary practice that works with the concept of universal life energy. It is often experienced as a calming or restorative part of a session.
Meditation, meanwhile, encourages you to bring your attention to the present moment, rather than becoming caught up in thoughts about the past or future.
Your experience will be guided by the intention you set and the needs you bring into the space. You don't need any previous experience of meditation or energy work.
3. A moment to reflect
As we bring the ritual to a close, you will have the option to choose an oracle card and spend some quiet time with a cup of herbal tea.
You might like to journal about your experience, reflect on anything that came up, or simply sit quietly and enjoy the moment. If you feel inspired to continue your reflections beyond the studio, you can also explore our Wellness Nook, where we offer journals for purchase to support your own self-reflection and rituals at home. However, this is entirely optional.
There is no need to analyse everything or leave with a particular revelation. The space is yours to use in whatever way feels right.
What should I wear or bring?
We recommend loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to relax. As this is a non-invasive session, you will remain fully clothed throughout.
Most importantly, arrive as you are. There is nothing you need to prepare in advance.

If you would like to incorporate a ritual into a piercing or freckle tattoo experience, you can add the relevant service to your booking.

Ritual doesn't have to be elaborate to be meaningful. Sometimes, it is the small details that help us slow down and become more present: a quiet room, a moment of stillness, the warmth of a cup of tea, or the opportunity to give our attention to something that matters to us.
At Bold & Gold Studios, the Sacred Ritual was born of our belief that body adornment and personal experiences can hold meaning beyond the physical. A piercing can be a way to express who you are, commemorate a moment or reconnect with your body. A ritual can offer a similar opportunity for reflection and intention, whether or not a piercing is involved.
You might come because you need a moment of rest. You might come to celebrate how far you've come. You might come with a particular intention, or you might simply be curious about what the experience could offer.
Whatever brings you here, the invitation is the same: to make a little space for yourself.

A Bespoke Ceremony: A Separate, More Personal Experience

If you're looking for something more immersive, with dedicated time to celebrate, commemorate or honour a meaningful moment in your life, Nikki also offers bespoke private ceremonies.
These are separate from our one-hour Intuitive Sacred Ritual.
Bespoke private ceremonies for individuals or two people.
You might be moving through a significant life transition, celebrating a personal milestone, wanting to honour a relationship, or simply feeling called to create a more immersive experience for yourself.
For these occasions, Nikki offers bespoke private ceremonies, curated around the individual or the people taking part.
These ceremonies can be arranged as half-day or full-day experiences for one person or up to two people. Depending on your intentions, the ceremony might weave together meditation, energy work, reflection and other thoughtfully chosen ritual elements.
A piercing or freckle tattoo can also be incorporated, if that feels meaningful to you. Equally, the ceremony can be entirely separate from any body modification.
The important thing is that the experience is shaped around what you want to mark.
Because every bespoke ceremony is different, the first step is an in-person consultation with Nikki.
This is an opportunity to sit down together over a cup of tea, talk through what you have in mind and explore what your ceremony could look like. You can discuss the occasion, the atmosphere you are drawn to, the practices you would like to include and how much time you would like to dedicate to the experience.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you arrive. The consultation is there to help you explore the possibilities and work out what feels right for you.
The consultation lasts 30 minutes and costs £10.
Please note: The consultation is not the ceremony itself. Your bespoke ceremony will be individually curated and booked directly with Nikki following your in-person consultation. This allows the time and experience to be tailored to your specific needs.
