Nikki heads our piercing and jewellery specialist team on Easter Road, working with professionals who share a passion for bettering the industry by providing the safest, highest quality services that are within our reach.

As a collective we strive to carry out services with careful consideration for the unique anatomy and lifestyle of the wearer, as well as other important factors involved in determining the right piercing and jewellery combinations best suited to each individual.

We specialise in luxury solid gold, gemstone body jewellery and house a large collection that we can use in your new piercing or fit in something you have already healed.

Our practices are fully sterile and fully disposable, including high quality implant grade jewellery as standard. but with our option to upgrade with luxury jewellery straight away we open the possibilities for starting your journey with your dream piece and adorning your body temple with the finest jewellery you know you deserve.

We are proud to house a phenomenal selection of professional body jewellery, designed predominantly by the piercing community for the piercing community, brands include Buddha Jewellery Organics, BVLA, Sacred Symbols and more.

We collaborate with independent jewellery specialists such as Jodie Metcalfe, Hawn Handmade and Pupil Hall on exclusive collections you won’t find anywhere else.

Sacred Piercing Sessions

Studio owner Nikki is extremely passionate about the personal transformation piercing can open up for a person. She believes the process can be empowering, as clients have the opportunity to have autonomy over what they do with their own bodies, it can also be affirming to mark an occasion for who they are inside to be represented externally.

Nikki has created a bespoke offering that weaves intention setting and energy healing into this sacred piercing session. You will not find this appointment on the booking system - first please make a Sacred Piercing Consultation option on the booking system if you would like to meet and discuss booking this experience.

Ear Spa Service

Daily exposure to soapy products and build up of dead skin cells can leave your jewellery and gemstones a little dull. We figured out a way to make a mundane jewellery cleaning process into a relaxing ear spa for you.

During this appointment we will apply a wet foaming solution to your ear and gently scrub the jewellery and surrounding skin with a soft brush to remove any residue that doesn’t belong.

You can simply rest and reset your mind and body while we restore your jewellery in your skin back to like new. At the end of the appointment we will give you the information and tools you’ll need to keep this up at home for yourself, or of course you are welcome to book back in with us again.

Pay it forward. Wanting to book an appointment for a loved one, or a special human, we offer £50 or £100 gift vouchers, that can be sent to you digitally or printed.

We have to say, our printed gift vouchers just make the most exquisite gift, printed with gold foiling and square in size.

We love any opportunity to get a bit creative. With our own range of candles, wax melts and tote bags, you can pop in to grab a gift for yourself or a loved one.

Makers Market, Open Door & Private Events

Building and supporting our community

Makers Markets

Building and supporting community has been a really important value behind the creation of Bold and Gold Piercing Art.

To action this value, a few times throughout the year we transform the studio into a small market stall space, where small independent makers, who are often without bricks and mortar spaces, can offer their products and services to our public.

The doors are open on these days and all are welcome to come visit to show support to the people behind these independent businesses. As well as posting about these Markets on our socials, we send information first to those signed up to our Golden Gossip Newsletter.

Open Door

In the instance where we are feeling a little fun and free, we will offer an Open Door Event. These are rare walk-in without appointment days where the public can come in to view our collections, get free piercing and jewellery styling advice and if there’s enough of the team available and space on the day we can even facilitate a few piercing & fitting appointments.

Private events

We love to work with and support the people who share our passion for piercing, jewellery and creating through art.

So when we get the opportunity to stock one off, handmade collections we are fully on board. We love to celebrate the launches of new collections to the studio with a wee VIP (Very Important Piercing) event, we keep the numbers limited and only send RSVP invites to our Golden Gossip subscribers.
